Lots of game goodies today! 

1. Dungeon Quest (Free w/ in-app purchases)

The first true RPG for the Apple TV.  I am a big fan of RPG's, so I played this as soon as I saw it.  Well, its a bit lackluster on fun, but considering you don't have much choice as to the platform it is on, at least someone is attempting it.  The developers are very engaged and plan to make it better day by day, which is uplifting.  The graphics are pretty poor compared to RPG's today.  Reminiscent of N64 if not worst.  It's not very challenging either.  You basically just swing a big stick and collect stuff to make your guy stronger.  But its fun to find rare items...makes you feel special!  The interface is a big clunky too, its hard to know what your selected on when using the menus.  

2. Defense TV (Free)

If you like to watch government videos about new military programs and watch new artillery tests and just anything military you will get a kick out of this stuff.  There are daily press briefings with heads of departments talking their stuff.  All sorts of shows.  I don't really get into this stuff, but I thought it was neat when I found it.  Kind of makes you feel like the government is doing what it can to show you what they are working on.

3. Disney Infinity Edition 3.0 (Free w/ in-app purchases)

Disney came out with their famous platform game series Infinity for the Apple TV.  Its best played when you buy the action pack they sell, which consists of real life toy figures.  Owning the character lets you play the character in the game.  The game is definitely geared to the younger audience.  This is proven by the simplicity of the game; everything is easy to kill and the game pretty much tells you what to do.  The boss fights get a little bit challenging, but not much.  The graphics look great!  And tons of fun Star Wars scenes that you get to play.  All of this is in 3rd person perspective, like typical 3D mario games.

4. decyde (Free)

A challenge to Siri's search function.  If you search through the app it will let you know what app the tv show or movie is in.  Currently it has more than what Siri looks through.  The other functionality the app does is it helps you decide what to watch when 2 or more people are saying what to watch.  Everyone picks a genre or name of movie and when it collects all that info it gives the best movie to watch for the group.

5. Dynamite Jack ($9.99)

A game that has a captured space explorer looking for a way out of the alien mining camp.  You use bombs to either blow holes in walls or get rid of watchmen.  It's from a birds eye perspective, so you get an overview of your objectives.  The graphics are basically Nintendo with some fresh lighting effects.  Hours of fun, and if you like puzzles then this game is definitely something worth getting.
